Manager/Veterinary Assistant

I have been working at Orangethorpe Animal Aid Hospital since January 2008. My passion for animals began when I was child. I used to collect bugs and have always adored cats and dogs. I had always been a cat owner and until recently became a dog owner as well. I love my two dogs, Teddy and Rose, and my cat, Tigger. Growing up, I always hoped to find a job that in some way involved working with animals. I then became a volunteer for the Downey Animal Shelter and this inspired me to work at an animal hospital. I am a Cal State Long Beach alumni with a Bachelors in Human Development. I love working at OAAH but most importantly, I love to see all pets go home happy and healthy!

Veterinary Assistant

I always loved the idea of working with animals. Even as a child I knew that that's where I belonged. As I grew up I always found a way to surround myself with animals, from owning four wonderful dogs to pet-sitting and dog walking around my own neighborhood. Working at an animal hospital seemed like such a far away goal, but now I have a accomplished to become a Vet Assistant and I'm learning so much from my coworkers and Dr. Pete. I am also currently attending Mt. San Antonio College to receive my certificate as a Registered Veterinary Technician. I love working here at Orangethorpe Animal Aid Hospital. We all work hard as a team to make sure that our patients go home healthy and their owners happy and satisfied because there's no better feeling.

Veterinary Assistant

Hi, my name is Binn Francis Soriano. I grew up alongside with my dad as a Veterinarian, and my mom as a nurse. Growing up as a child I use to watch my dad work with animals. From then on I knew I wanted to follow in his footsteps. I recently started working here at OAAH, and I have learned so much. I love working with animals. I also love seeing our client’s happy faces when they pick up their pets.
